Connect juudd to ChatGPT

Add juudd once as a plugin, and ChatGPT can put the sites it writes for you online. It takes about three minutes on chatgpt.com, in a computer’s browser.

What you need

  • A ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education account, used on the web. Adding your own plugin needs Developer mode, and those are the plans OpenAI offers it on.
  • The connector URL above, copied whole. It ends in /mcp.
  • A juudd account, or an email address or Google account to make one with when you sign in.
  • Nothing else. No API key and no client ID: juudd tells ChatGPT how to sign you in.

Turn on Developer mode

Open Settings, choose Security and login, and scroll to Developer mode. Switch it on.

ChatGPT labels it Elevated risk, because it lets you add plugins OpenAI has not reviewed. juudd is one of them for now.

Open Plugins and click +

Go to Plugins in the sidebar, or chatgpt.com/plugins. Click the + button beside Search plugins.

Fill in New Plugin

Name it juudd. A description is optional; it is what you will see in the chat menu.

Under Connection keep Server URL and paste the connector URL. Leave Authentication on OAuth.

Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create.

Sign in to juudd, once

ChatGPT shows Add juudd to ChatGPT. Click Sign in with juudd, and juudd’s sign-in page opens in a new tab.

Continue with your email or with Google. If it asks to let ChatGPT access your account, click Allow access. The tab closes and you are back in ChatGPT.

juudd’s page lists what it can do under Actions. If it says No app actions available yet, click Refresh.

Use it in a chat

In a new chat, click + in the message box and choose juudd. It sits in the box as a juudd chip; type your message after it.

Permissions start at Allow low-risk actions, so reading your sites goes ahead and ChatGPT asks before riskier steps. Change it on juudd’s page under Permissions.

Check that it worked

With juudd picked, type:

“Say hello to juudd and tell me which account I’m signed in as.”

ChatGPT calls juudd and answers with your juudd account. You are ready to ask for a website.

If something goes wrong

There is no Developer mode in Security and login.

It is offered on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, on the web. On a work account, your workspace admin may control it.

Create stays grey.

Tick I understand and want to continue, and check the URL is the whole address ending in /mcp.

juudd’s page says No app actions available yet.

Click Refresh on that page. The list appeared after one refresh when we tried it.

Open juudd’s page in Settings → Plugins, click the ⋯ menu, and choose Reconnect.

juudd is not in the chat’s + menu.

Check Settings → Plugins lists juudd, and that it was created while Developer mode was on.

Remove it

Open Settings → Plugins → juudd, click the ⋯ menu, and choose Delete, or Disconnect to keep it and sign out. ChatGPT may show an error even so; when we tried, juudd was gone from Plugins a few minutes later. Removing only takes juudd out of ChatGPT. Your sites stay online and every version stays kept.
